About
It started as curiosity and got a bit out of hand.
Born in Caracas, grew up in London. I’ve got a chemistry degree and thought that was the plan, right up until photography quietly took it over.
The training didn’t go to waste. Developing film is chemistry, and once you know what the chemistry is doing you are never going to be the person who hands the roll to a lab.
Digital and film, stills and moving image. I develop, scan and print my own work, which is honestly half of why I love it. Taking the picture turns out to be the start rather than the end.
Working
Stills, moving image and drone, for brands and for myself. Alongside the personal work I run Oui Are Social, a London agency, and shoot commercially through it.
Ricoh GR IV UK Brand Ambassador and Pentax 17 Creator Partner.
Speaking
Why We Still Shoot Film
The Photography Show 2026
Film photography has died three times in my lifetime. The people writing the obituaries are almost never the people actually making photographs.
The talk isn’t a defence of film, and it isn’t film versus digital. It asks why people still choose a process that costs more and takes longer, and what that says about what photography actually is.
